Waleed and Mary Khalel are the owners of Zaytoon Grill. Waleed, the patriarch of the family was born in the ancient city of Jerusalem. He has lived in the U.S. for over 35 years. Mary Khalel, his wife of 30 years, is from the great state of Kentucky. Together they raised 2 children, Mohammed and Sheren, and have 2 grandchildren, Laila and Nasir. 

 

Opening Zaytoon Grill is the fullfillment of a lifelong dream to offer the same unique flavors and recipes as the shops and restaurants that line the streets of my fathers hometown. 

Central Avenue is where we decided to showcase our food and share with the community our love of fresh, healthy and delicious food. Stop by and say hi to Wally, Mary and Mo and see for yourself.
